Disabled Person Sponsorship Scheme: How it Works

If you are have a disability and live in a developing country and would like to register yourself for assistance on our website, please fill in THE FORM online or print it to post to us with your photo and all details completed.

FOR SPONSORS:
On this website are the details of disabled people around the world who seek a sponsor to help pay for their wheelchair, walker, prosthesis, physio-therapy, surgery for mobility, medicine or other rehabilitation needs.

When you click on Sammy, Nirjala, Kamala, Jimmy etc you will find their photos, their addresses, their medical problem or disease, the physio aid or medical service needed and the local cost of that help.

You can assess their request yourself!

If you want to sponsor someone, please fill out a sponsor form.

MEND will liaise with both the donor and the recipient to ensure aid is received and acknowledged. Donors will be able to quickly verify that their financial assistance helped a particular person. Follow-up photos of the recipient will be pasted onto the web or sent to you.
